Born and raised in Thailand, Vipoo Srivilasa—who typically goes just by Vipoo—moved to Australia. Based mostly in Melbourne for greater than 20 years, his work has engaged with ideas like queerness, migration, and spirituality by ceramics.
Vipoo emphasizes neighborhood, accessibility, and an unwavering optimism in elegant but playful porcelain sculptures (beforehand).
