Tragic information within the school soccer world … UNLV offensive lineman Ben Christman was discovered useless in his off-campus condo on Tuesday.
He was solely 21 years previous.
The UNLV soccer staff confirmed Ben’s passing on Wednesday, releasing a press release addressing the sudden lack of their teammate.
“Our team’s heart is broken to hear of Ben’s passing,” UNLV head coach Dan Mullen mentioned.
“Since the day Ben set foot on our campus a month ago, he made the Rebels a better program.”
Mullen added, “Ben made the world a better place and he will be missed.”
Based on native stories, Christman died at a residence close to the College of Nevada Las Vegas campus. The reason for Christman’s loss of life continues to be unknown.
The 6’6″ athlete was a four-star prospect within the 2021 class, beginning his school soccer profession with Ohio State. Christman then transferred to Kentucky, the place he spent two seasons, earlier than becoming a member of the Runnin’ Rebels this previous December.
“Ben recently joined us as a transfer student and had already made a meaningful impact on his teammates and coaches,” Erick Harper, UNLV’s Athletic Director, mentioned.
“Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and teammates during this extremely difficult time.”
