PLANE CATCHES FIRE IN HOUSTON

A United Airways airplane taking off from Houston and heading to New York was evacuated after experiencing an engine subject and catching fireplace.
The Federal Aviation Administration tells TMZ … the crew of the Airbus A319 safely aborted takeoff from George Bush Intercontinental/Houston Airport because of a reported engine subject round 8:35 AM on Sunday.
The 104 passengers and 5 crew members deplaned on the runway via a mixture of slides and stairs and have been bused to the terminal.
United Airways tells TMZ … “During takeoff, United flight 1382 received an indication about one engine and halted the takeoff while still on the runway.” They went on to say there have been no reported accidents.
FOX 26 in Houston obtained video by which you see the wing of the airplane on fireplace. You may hear a flight attendant ask for the passengers to stay seated. One passenger is overheard saying, “No, it’s on fire!”
Sunday’s scare comes simply days after 6 individuals have been killed in a airplane crash in Philadelphia. The crash in Philly got here 2 days after an American Eagle regional jet and an Military helicopter collided in Washington D.C., leaving 67 individuals useless.
The FAA says they’re now investigating the incident.
