Vance had his share of controversy too … when the controversy matter turned to immigration.
Donald Trump‘s working mate had his microphone lower off by CBS moderators Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan as he was speaking about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio.
Vance referred to as them “illegal” after which received fact-checked by CBS, with the journalists saying the migrants had momentary authorized standing … and when Vance doubled down, his mic was lower as O’Donnell and Brennan tried to shepherd the controversy to a different matter.
J.D. additionally complained about getting fact-checked — saying it wasn’t an agreed-upon rule at this debate — and CBS finally lower each candidates’ mics as issues began to go off the rails.
