I am so thankful for our president, Joseph Biden. I am thankful for his actions and his handling of the war in Ukraine and the sanctions he is instilling on Russia and Vladimir Putin. I believe these sanctions against Russia will eventually cause Putin to cease his domineering and aggressive behavior against democracy.
I have further concerns. I really don’t like doing business with communist countries such as Russia. Communism and capitalism do not blend very well as there will always be that divide in the two types of governing. Our form of government wants people to be free and live in a democracy, and communism wants to be oppressive and commanding over its people. I am so glad today that Donald Trump is not our president as he has publicly supported Putin for invading Ukraine.
May the United States stay strong and democratically free in our thinking and actions. Amen.
