Get ready, gamers.
Super Nintendo World is coming to the U.S. next year.
Universal Studios Hollywood has not revealed the exact date, but says the themed land will open in an expanded area of its California park in 2023.
The immersive space will include “a groundbreaking ride and interactive areas” inspired by beloved Nintendo games and characters like Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach, the park announced Thursday.
In the lead-up to the land’s opening, Super Nintendo World merchandise will “soon” be available at what’s currently the park’s Feature Presentation store location.
This will be the first Super Nintendo World in America.
Super Nintendo World debuted at Universal Studios Japan last year.
In 2016, Universal Parks and Resorts said Super Nintendo World would eventually come to all three of its properties worldwide. No date has been announced for Universal Orlando Resort.
