It’s almost time for some golden popcorn!
The nominees for the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards and Movie & TV Awards: UNSCRIPTED were both announced today. Top nominees on the scripted film and TV side include Spider-Man: No Way Home (with seven noms), Euphoria (with six), and The Batman (with four). On the unscripted side, RuPaul’s Drag Race has the most nominations, with four. Selling Sunset and Summer House are up next with three nods apiece.
New this year for the Movie & TV Awards are the categories of Best Song and Here for the Hookup. New unscripted show categories include Best Reality Return, Best Music Documentary, Best Reality Romance, and Best Reality Star.
Beginning today, May 11, fans can vote for their favorites across the 26 gender-neutral categories by visiting vote.mtv.com through May 18 at 6 p.m. ET. Both shows will air on Sunday, June 5, as part of a one-night only Los Angeles takeover event live from Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
