A sizzling air balloon journey in Brazil became a deadly tragedy after it caught on hearth and plummeted from the sky Saturday — and it is all on video.

The Governor of Santa Catarina confirmed on X that 21 folks had been onboard when the journey went unsuitable … and 13 survived the flight.
He confirmed rescue efforts had been underway … and affected households are being comforted by way of the horrific incident, per his X video translated by NBC.
He added … “We are in mourning. A tragedy has happened. We will see how it unfolds, what happened, why it happened. But the important thing now is for the state structure to do what it can.”
The final Praia Grande area of Brazil is a well-liked vacation spot for warm air balloon journeys.
Scorching air balloon deaths are uncommon, with a 2024 report noting solely 30 had been recorded globally between 2008 and 2022.
