Fatman Scoop‘s dedication to hip hop tradition was felt in full on his final day on Earth … the veteran hype man gave his final dying breath whereas acting on August 30, and had simply launched a clubby anthem with NYC rapper Dyce Payso hours earlier!!!
It is a bittersweet second for the budding MC … and TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Dyce on Thursday, when he saluted Scoop as a standup man who went the additional mile to push their “Let It Go” collab to the forefront!!!
He performs us a recording of Scoop pushing for Funkmaster Flex to bomb the document on Sizzling 97 … featured artists are paid whether or not the track does nicely or not, however Scoop was there to go alongside the sport.
Dyce tells us the document, which samples Ray J and Lil Kim‘s 2001 jam “Wait a Minute,” was filled with power when he made it, and imagined Scoop including his contact to the hook.
