Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season is formally right here, and the Los Angeles Rams can be featured after they tackle the Detroit Lions on “Sunday Night Football.”
The Rams and Lions met within the Wild Card Spherical of the 2024 NFL Playoffs, when Detroit earned a slender victory to advance.
Since then, Los Angeles has made a number of significant roster additions to present it a greater likelihood of competing with Detroit and the remainder of the NFC.
Sadly, the offseason wasn’t type to the Rams by way of accidents as a number of of their projected starters went down.
The offensive line specifically noticed two key members — Jonah Jackson and Rob Havenstein — miss time with shoulder and ankle accidents, respectively.
Although Jackson is on monitor to play in Week 1, it seems Havenstein will sit out in opposition to the Lions, so Los Angeles made a corresponding roster transfer on its offensive line.
“Activated, from Practice Squad OL A.J. Arcuri,” the workforce stated on X.

Arcuri would change Havenstein at proper deal with, whereas Jackson is swapping locations with Steve Avila and taking part in middle.
Offensive-line shuffling this early within the season doesn’t bode effectively for the Rams, although head coach Sean McVay is adept at making modifications on the fly and getting essentially the most out of his offense.
For now, Detroit needs to be given the sting contemplating it’s the residence workforce, although Los Angeles is a stingy opponent that gained’t go away quietly.
