Caballero’s photograph was chosen as the highest picture from greater than 15,000 entries throughout classes from underwater to surf to drone pictures.
Second place was awarded to Jade Hoksbergen, who captured a northern gannet torpedoing into the ocean for a meal, and third place noticed Thien Nguyen Ngoc’s aerial view of a fishing boat amid swirling smoke and its swathe of inexperienced netting.
