Nicole Kidman received emotional throughout an acceptance speech on the Palm Springs Worldwide Movie Awards … and even began crying as she devoted her award to her late mom.
The Oscar-winning actress was given the Worldwide Star Award for her newest film, “Babygirl,” by movie legend Jamie Lee Curtis at Friday’s competition in Florida.
Nicole stepped as much as the mic onstage to say a number of phrases — and nearly instantly started speaking concerning the dying of her mother, Janelle, in September.
Try video, obtained by TMZ … Nicole stated she went residence over Christmas and realized she had misplaced each of her dad and mom — her father, Antony, died in 2014.
However, Nicole stated her dad and mom gave her the love and resilience to maintain transferring ahead.

She went on to thank “Babygirl” director, Halina Reijn, for tapping her for the function within the movie … and for accepting the award on her behalf on the Venice Movie Pageant again in September — keep in mind, Nicole abruptly left the occasion after studying of her mother’s passing.
On the finish of her speech, Nicole devoted the award to her mother as she choked up with tears rolling down her face.
