Following the prisoner of war swap which took place on 21 September, Viktor Medvedchuk [Ukrainian businessman and pro-Russian politician; Putin is his daughter’s godfather – ed.] has appeared in Moscow.
Source: Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, in an interview for Ukrainska Pravda
Quote: “They certainly didn’t give him the red carpet treatment there, that I can say for sure. Where is he now? I will check the reports, I don’t remember. But I can say that he was taken to Moscow.
First, he was taken to Ankara but eventually, he arrived in Moscow. I know that the FSB had a lot of questions to ask him. The questions were practical, not political.”
Details: Budanov supposes that the Russian secret services may, for instance, ask Medvedchuk where the money is that Russia allocated for the preparation of the invasion of Ukraine.
