The New York Giants’ season continues to unravel at an alarming tempo.

In every week that started with the departure of their five-year starter Daniel Jones, the group now faces even deeper turbulence.

The Week 12 blowout loss has solely intensified hypothesis about head coach Brian Daboll’s future, as his workforce seems to have misplaced its aggressive edge.

The aftermath of Sunday’s defeat revealed cracks that run deeper than simply the scoreboard.

Veterans brazenly criticized the workforce’s lackluster efficiency, nevertheless it was rookie sensation Malik Nabers who delivered essentially the most pointed message concerning the present state of affairs.

“I go out there the first, second quarter, don’t get the ball, started getting targets at the end. I mean, I can’t do nothing,” Nabers vented to reporters, his frustration evident as he aggressively chewed gum.

“I started getting the ball when it was 30-0. What do you want me to do?”

This show of inner discord carries specific weight given proprietor John Mara’s earlier endorsement of Daboll.

The stress turns into much more perplexing when contemplating Nabers’ affect when lastly utilized.

The 2024 first-round choose managed to safe six catches for 64 yards on 9 targets, with most of his manufacturing coming within the second half.

Regardless of lacking three video games this season, Nabers leads the workforce throughout all receiving classes – 61 receptions, 607 yards, and three touchdowns.
