In a monumental achievement blending emotion, patriotism, and environmental leadership, Save Earth Mission has officially set a Guinness World Record by executing the largest single-day tree plantation drive under the nationwide campaign, “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary call for a greener and more sustainable India.
The campaign — launched as a heartfelt tribute to both motherhood and Mother Earth — encouraged every Indian to plant a tree in the name of their mother. What began as a symbolic gesture has now placed India firmly in the global spotlight, with Save Earth Mission’s India chapter leading a record-breaking initiative recognized by Guinness World Records.
With unmatched planning and digital precision, the Mission coordinated 500,000 trees planted and adopted across thousands of locations — including cities, towns, rural villages, schools, universities, corporate offices, and remote tribal regions. The entire drive was supported by real-time geotagging and tracking, ensuring each tree’s survival and long-term impact.
“This Guinness World Record is a victory for every Indian who planted a sapling in their mother’s name,” said a senior official from Save Earth Mission. “We are grateful to Prime Minister Modi for inspiring this campaign. His vision transformed a simple act of love into a powerful national movement.”
Under PM Modi’s leadership, India has made consistent strides in sustainable development, clean energy, and climate action. “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” translates this vision into deep personal and cultural connection, uniting citizens through a shared act of environmental responsibility.
In addition to the plantation drive, Save Earth Mission organized awareness workshops, school programs, and clean climate training sessions across the country, further empowering communities with knowledge and action.
The campaign witnessed nationwide participation — from elderly citizens to young children, as families planted trees in parks, courtyards, and community spaces. For many, it became a new family tradition — planting trees in honor of mothers and future generations alike.
This achievement marks a new era in India’s climate leadership. Save Earth Mission has not only planted trees — it has planted hope, purpose, and unity.
