Iggy Azalea says she considers herself to be a single mother to the child she shares with Playboi Carti — going as far as to assert she’s not co-parenting in any respect.
The Aussie rapper — who birthed her and Carti’s son, Onyx, in 2020 — hopped on the ‘Dinner’s On Me’ podcast this week and was requested level clean about her household dynamic … and Iggy made no bones in regards to the truth she believes she’s on her personal in parenting.
Iggy says, “I’m very much a single mother. I’m very much the only parent, no disrespect, but yes, I am not co-parenting really, and that’s just the reality of it. It’s one, it’s 24/7.”
She went on to mirror on motherhood and the way her son has taught her to be current and to prioritize household time over different trivial issues — and, IA even attributed a number of her success to her son as nicely, saying he is her greatest fan. However yeah … she’s positively crapping on Carti.
FWIW … Iggy has accused Carti of being an absent father up to now — making it very clear that she would not see him as a shining instance of parenthood … it has been a years-long saga.
Whereas Carti has been largely quiet about Iggy’s claims — he is fairly non-public normally — Iggy usually posts pics of their child on social media … and he or she actually appears to be like very concerned.
We have reached out to Carti’s camp … thus far no phrase again.
