Iwagumi is a Japanese time period that refers back to the methodical association of rocks in aquascaping. Often taking up the type of daring, weighty stones resting amongst one another in opposition to open, ethereal environment, the distinctive artwork kind appreciates and showcases the standard great thing about rocks. For the tenth version of the i Gentle Singapore artwork pageant in Marina Bay, artwork and know-how studio ENESS pays homage to the artistic custom with a significant set up titled Iwagumi Air Area.
The monumental work consists of sixteen prodigious rock varieties positioned inside a grassy park, as if remodeling the town into a huge aquarium. Metropolis dwellers wander across the rocks identical to marine life exploring nooks and crannies underwater. Towering as much as 13 meters excessive, the tallest buildings mimic the upward ascent of surrounding metropolis buildings.
