A lady who has died after being stabbed at a railway station in Walsall has been named as Rhiannon Skye Whyte, described as “brave, quirky and funny” in a household tribute.

Whyte, 27, was stabbed at Bescot Stadium railway station, close to the house floor of Walsall Soccer Membership, on Sunday and died from her accidents in hospital on Wednesday.

Deng Cholmajek, 18, was charged with tried homicide after the assault and police stated they’d make an software to amend the cost in mild of Whyte’s demise. He was remanded in custody and can subsequent seem at Wolverhampton crown court docket on 19 November.

Police have been referred to as to the station simply after 11.25pm on Sunday to stories of a critical assault and located Whyte with critical accidents. She was taken to hospital the place she died along with her household by her facet on Wednesday.

Her household described her as “the most loved daughter, compassionate sister, loving aunty, gracious granddaughter, beautiful niece, wonderful cousin and devoted friend”.

“The most selfless person, you were brave, quirky, funny, and always there for anyone who needed it. There is not enough paper in the world to even begin to write a tribute for you, but no one deserves it more,” they stated.

“The weird thing about this devastating loss is that we now need to navigate life without you, but how? If your short life will teach anything it’s to cherish each moment with those you love as tomorrow is never guaranteed.

“You are so strong, a fighter and no matter what happens, we as a family will always be united for you. We will love and miss you for now for always and for ever.”
