When you’ve ever needed to odor a film, you are in luck. A24 might be internet hosting multi-sensory expertise screenings of the upcoming horror movie Heretic, full with the odor of blueberry pie.
Why blueberry pie, it’s possible you’ll ask? The reply lies in Heretic‘s first spooky trailer. The movie, directed by A Quiet Place writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, sees Mormon missionaries Sister Barnes (Yellowjackets‘ Sophie Thatcher) and Sister Paxton (The Fabelmans‘ Chloe East) go to the house of the kindly seeming Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant). At first, the younger ladies are hesitant to enter Reed’s home, as they want a lady current. He assures them that his spouse is simply within the kitchen, baking some blueberry pie.
However when Barnes and Paxton uncover that the scrumptious odor of blueberry pie is simply the results of a scented candle, they’re going to understand that Mr. Reed is far more devious than he initially appeared — and he has a horrifying collection of trials that can take a look at their religion deliberate for them.
