The feds are working with native legislation enforcement businesses to analyze the burglaries on the houses of Kansas Metropolis Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce … TMZ has discovered.
A number of sources with direct data of the state of affairs inform TMZ … the FBI is helping the Cass County Sheriff’s Workplace to analyze the Mahomes incident, and becoming a member of forces with the Leawood Police Division to probe the Kelce crime.
The FBI getting concerned means this can be a fairly massive deal, and never simply because Patrick and Travis are well-known athletes.
Our sources inform us the feds would NOT become involved if this have been an uneventful housebreaking spree on the native stage … and the FBI’s involvement right here signifies the case may contain organized crime crossing state strains.
TMZ broke the story … Patrick had his lavish property in Belton, Missouri burglarized round midnight on October 6, whereas Travis’ Leawood, Kansas mansion was damaged into on October 7, shortly after kick off within the Chiefs’ Monday Evening Soccer recreation, when Taylor Swift was on the town.
We obtained the police report from the Kelce house housebreaking and it says his again door was broken and $20,000 in money was taken. Unclear what, if something, was taken from Patrick’s house.
Patrick and Kelce aren’t the one victims right here … we’re instructed the FBI can also be investigating break-ins at houses of different residents in close by neighborhoods.
A spokesperson for the FBI department in Kansas Metropolis says they’d not verify or deny the Bureau’s involvement within the investigations.
In the meantime, Patrick and Travis haven’t publicly commented on the incidents … not less than not but … although they’re certain to be requested about it later this week once they go in entrance of NFL reporters.
