Donald Trump has been railing on the FBI’s director for suggesting he may not have been hit by a bullet when he was shot at — and now … the company’s fully backpedaling.

The FBI simply put out a press release that unequivocally stands agency on the notion Trump was, in truth, struck by one in all Thomas Matthew Crooks‘ AR-15 rounds a pair weeks in the past at his rally in Butler, PA … the place one individual was killed, and two others have been injured.

The assertion reads, “What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle.”

After all, this about-face comes after Trump and his allies have cried foul at Christopher Wray‘s waffling on this situation throughout his congressional testimony this week … casting a little bit of doubt by saying it would’ve been shrapnel that peppered his ear versus a full bullet.

That kicked up a frenzy of hypothesis … with some saying Trump could have stretched the reality on his damage and hammed it up for the media. DT, nonetheless, at all times caught to his story.

In truth, he doubled down but once more on Friday — posting a now-viral picture of the bullet whizzing previous his ear and including, “Perhaps FBI Director Christopher Wray will notice there is no shrapnel or glass flying through the ear, only a bloodstained bullet.”

Not that anybody doubted it, however as a way to rid our Nation of the political assertion put out by the Director of the FBI, in between preventing for the Security and Safety of these burning our American Flags, and proper now spraying our lovely Limestone Monuments in Washington,… pic.twitter.com/a0AUqlOvtA

It appears all of the handwringing has pressured the FBI to come back out and say it very clearly … he bought nicked that day, and the ordeal was simply as harmful as everybody’s been saying.

Time will inform if this appeases Trump — who, BTW, has misplaced his bandage and appears to have healed up fairly properly.

He went from a giant white bandage to a small tan one … and now, nothing in any respect. It is a miracle!
