The person accused of firing a gun and killing two folks at a Detroit Lions tailgate final Sunday will NOT be charged with a criminal offense … as officers say he was performing in self-defense.

Cops stated a preliminary investigation revealed that 25-year-old Jalen Welch had gotten right into a dispute with a 40-year-old man on the venue … when the person opened hearth and killed him. It could have been any one of us. We looked at all the applicable laws, and there is no crime that can be charged or proven beyond a reasonable doubt.”
Japanese Market officers, in the meantime, stated they’re placing a pause on the tailgating festivities for the Lions’ subsequent residence sport on Sept. 30 “out of respect for the victims and their families.”
