In his ongoing “quest to articulate the ineffable,” Arizona-based artist Daniel Martin Diaz (beforehand) creates large-scale works that merge metaphysical, scientific, and technological phenomena into vibrant geometric compositions.

Diaz’s present solo exhibition, UNIVERSAL CODES on the Everhart Museum of Pure Historical past, Science, and Artwork, presents current work drawing on a variety of influences, from Mexican non secular iconography and arcane non secular sigils to Early Netherlandish painters and Gothic ornamental motifs.

“Cross Species Interface”

Diaz’s work typically investigates ideas of demise and faith “as he seeks to pose questions but not answer them,” says an exhibition assertion. Juxtaposing esoteric symbols and messages with scientific diagrams and non secular iconography, the artist explores the surreality of cosmic forces.

UNIVERSAL CODES continues by April 27 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Discover extra on Diaz’s Instagram, and peruse a variety of prints, attire, and residential equipment in his store.
