Chris Ware Illustrates a Postwoman’s Day to Have a good time 250 Years of USPS

From dropping letters in a mailbox to waving to neighbors and colleagues, the postwoman in Chris Ware’s new set of U.S. postage stamps does all of it. The forthcoming launch is rendered within the illustrator’s distinctive graphic model and commemorates 250 years of america Postal Service. Every stamp depicts a person scene that, when seen collectively, collectively inform the story of a postal service on her route by way of all 4 seasons.

Ware co-designed the stamps, which will probably be launched on July 23, with artwork director Antonio Alcalá. You possibly can pre-order a sheet now. (through Kottke)
