Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday said that he views Russian atrocities in Ukraine as war crimes, following earlier condemnation from President Biden calling Russian President Vladimir Putin a “war criminal.”
“After all the destruction of the past three weeks, I find it difficult to conclude that the Russians are doing otherwise,” the secretary said in remarks to the press, specifically citing attacks on civilians.
