Ben Stiller is not only a director and govt producer of Severance — he additionally had an uncredited voiceover cameo again in Season 1.

In a 2022 interview with ET On-line, Severance stars Britt Decrease and Dichen Lachman confirmed that Stiller voiced the animated model of Lumon founder Kier Eagan that congratulates Helly (Decrease) for reaching quota in Season 1, episode 8, “What’s for Dinner?”

Stiller, for his half, has been extra coy about his secret function within the present, telling What to Watch, “I don’t know if we’ve ever confirmed that I’m the voice of Kier Eagan; Lumon employee agreements are very airtight!”

However on the Jan. 15 episode of The Severance Podcast with Ben Stiller & Adam Scott, Stiller jokingly addressed his cameo once more. He, together with co-host Scott and episode visitor John Turturro, play the clip of animated Kier Eagan thanking Helly.

As quickly because the clip finishes taking part in, Scott instantly prompts Stiller about his cameo. “So, Ben,” he stated. “That voice sounds familiar.”

Stiller laughed it off, joking, “This is some actor that they hired to do the voice for the congratulatory animated video. Obviously an out-of-work actor who needed the gig… A guy who got a couple of callbacks for Severance but couldn’t get in.”

Later within the episode, Stiller praised Marc Geller, who performs live-action Kier Eagan. “He’s so much a part of the show, and so committed to the show,” he stated. “He’s just great.”

Turturro agreed, including: “I’m in the show and I saw [him] and I thought, ‘No wonder [Irving] was a believer.”

Severance Season 2 premieres Jan. 17 on Apple TV+, with a brand new episode each week.
