It may have been Un Verano Sin Ti, but for Bad Bunny, 2022 was still a summer of success. The Puerto Rican superstar performed his song “Tití Me Preguntó” live from Yankee Stadium at the 2022 MTV VMAs.
Right before his performance, Bad Bunny was named the winner of the Artist of the Year Award. However, he couldn’t accept his Moon Person at the New Jersey ceremony because he was was in the midst of a concert at Yankee Stadium. Still, the award proved a fitting opening for the remote performance, as Bad Bunny rapped to a packed stadium.
In addition to being nominated for for Artist of the Year, Bad Bunny’s “Tití Me Preguntó” was featured in the Best Latin category, “Me Porto Bonito (featuring Chencho Corleone)” was up for Song of the Summer, and Un Verano Sin Ti competed for Album of the Year.
Un Verano Sin Ti debuted in May as the best-selling album of 2022. Bad Bunny’s “El Último Tour Del Mundo” continues through the end of the year, including an upcoming stop at Made in America festival.
