“I find symmetry very comforting and calming… it scratches an itch in my brain,” Richards shares. Following a radial strategy, Richards experimented with ranging from the middle of round or ovoid embroidery hoops and dealing her method outward, taking part in with completely different shapes and paths. Every aerial panorama is then stitched with meticulous element, from single strains of thread mimicking bridges to a gold cog inserted on the coronary heart of a teeming backyard to resemble a fountain.
