A new marriage means a new estate—when you’re Britney Spears, at least. The pop star, who married Sam Asghari last week, has purchased a seven bedroom, nine bathroom home for $11.8 million, reports TMZ. Located just outside of Los Angeles in the suburb of Calabasas, the home sits on 1.6-acres in a gated community.
Security is surely a peak concern for Spears, and her new home sits inside a double-gated neighborhood and features a security system. Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, and other stars also live in the enclave. The “Toxic” singer also prioritized lots of space, as the new home offers up 11,649 square feet. Dual fountains sit on either side of the outdoor walkway and act as the perfect grand entrance to the estate, especially when paired with the 33-foot ceilings in the foyer, which is wrapped in carved Carbrera stone. Inside, the home has tons of amenities, including a 10-seat Dolby Surround Sound theater that features walls covered in opulent hand-made tapestries.
The primary bedroom holds a fireplace and sitting area, as well as walk-in closets and a luxurious shower with a dual entrance. The home also boasts a wine cellar, wet bar, multiple cook prep stations, and a gourmet chef’s kitchen with a wraparound breakfast bar.
The resort-like pool features mosaic tiles and multiple waterfalls so that the newlyweds can feel like they’re on their honeymoon from their very own backyard. The outdoor amenities also include a jacuzzi, a covered patio that’s heated, as well as an expansive outdoor kitchen. Finally, there’s an adorable guest house so that the couple can host friends comfortably.
