Sues Over Nationwide Guard Deployment in L.A.

Gavin Newsom is following up along with his risk to sue President Trump over the deployment of the Nationwide Guard to Los Angeles … as a result of the California Governor simply filed a case in opposition to POTUS over it.
Newsom and the State of California are suing Trump, Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth and the U.S. Division of Protection over what Newsom says are “illegal actions” to deploy members of the California Nationwide Guard.

Trump despatched the Nationwide Guard into L.A. Saturday after protests erupted over federal immigration raids … a transfer Newsom says is unconstitutional.
Within the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Newsom claims Trump had no authority to deploy the California Nationwide Guard … Newsom says that the statute the president invoked clearly requires that motion to undergo the governor.

Newsom’s lawsuit asks the courts to cease the feds from unilaterally deploying Nationwide Guard in California with out going by the governor first … and he needs a declaration that Trump’s memo calling within the Nationwide Guard was unauthorized.
