Paul Rodriguez will not face penalties for his current possession arrest … ‘trigger the town the place he was arrested has determined to not transfer ahead with the case.

The Burbank Metropolis Legal professional tells TMZ … the case has been rejected for lack of ample proof.

As we informed you … Paul was arrested for allegedly possessing narcotics in late March, although Rodriguez maintained the medication weren’t his.

As an alternative, Rodriguez — who was in a automobile cops pulled over for a visitors violation earlier than they are saying they discovered the medication — says he was lifeless asleep within the passenger seat when a police officer allegedly slapped him to wake him.

Paul’s good friend, who was driving, copped to the medication being hers, Paul says … however, he claims he was nonetheless roughed up and arrested.

The police later fired again at PR’s claims … claiming he spoke to the watch commander previous to his launch and did not convey up any allegations of police misconduct on the time.

We spoke with Paul’s legal professional, Bobby Samini, who tells TMZ … “My client commends the City Attorney for their determination in this matter. It is without doubt that Mr. Rodriguez was innocent and never possessed any controlled substance.”

He continues, “Mr. Rodriguez maintained his innocence and rejected the assertion by Burbank PD that he committed any crime. He is grateful for the support he received from his fans, family and friends throughout this difficult time.”
