Richard Simmons is up in heaven together with his trademark tank prime and shorts, working up a sweat … not less than that is what his brother mentioned at Richard’s celebration of life.
The late health guru was remembered Saturday in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana … and his brother, Leonard, in contrast him to Clark Kent throughout a touching eulogy at St. Louis Cathedral.
Leonard says Richard was like Superman in that he all the time had his tank prime and shorts on underneath his outfit — like Clark maintaining his superhero getup underneath his civilian garments.
Richard’s brother says he is up in heaven watching down on his followers and household, and “will forever be sweating with the holies.”
