20 breathtaking astronomy images seize the most effective of house

Area and images followers are in for a deal with. The Astronomy Photographer of the 12 months competitors has returned, with its sixteenth version shortlist that includes a shocking array of pictures.

London’s Royal Museums Greenwich acquired a whopping 3,500 entries from each beginner {and professional} photographers globally, every of whom captured a wide ranging glimpse of house. The 30 shortlisted entries vary from visuals from the Geminid meteor bathe to an aurora within the form of a dragon to historical supernova remnants.
